Pay-Per-View Questions

Why can't I view the movies on the site?
There can be a variety of reasons you may not be able to view the movies. Here are things that you can try to correct the problem:
  1. AOL
If you access our site using AOL or an Internet connection window like MSN, Earthlink, or others, you may experience problems viewing the movies. After you connect to the Internet minimize AOL or your Internet connection window and open Internet Explorer and access our site using Internet Explorer.
  2. Browser Plug-ins
If you have content filtering software, popup blocking software, or a personal firewall, you will need to disable them. These applications will interfere with viewing streaming content.
  3. Windows Media Player:
You should make sure that you have the latest version of Windows Media Player available for your Operating System.
    1. Windows 98 Second Edition, ME, NT, 2000
If you do not have Windows Media Player 9 you will have to upgrade your Media Player. CLICK HERE to download Windows Media Player 9. Windows Media Player versions 7 and 8 will not work.
    2. Windows XP
If you do not have Windows Media Player 10 you will have to upgrade your Media Player. CLICK HERE to download Windows Media Player 10.
  4. Player Preference
The movies will automatically open in the embedded version of Windows Media Player. If the movies do not play we suggest that you change your Player Preference. Click MY ACCOUNT. On the Personal Preferences page go to Player Preference and change the option to YES and click Update Preference. This change will open the movies directly in Windows Media Player.
  5. 1MB Streaming Movies
Many movies on our site are now available in 1MB streams. If you view a 1MB stream and you experience choppy streaming or repetitive buffering or other issues your Internet connection speed is not fast enough or your computer may not be fast or powerful enough to handle 1MB streams. You will need to stream the movies using the HIGH SPEED play link.
  6. Adjustments To Windows Media Player Settings – WINDOWS PC USERS ONLY:
    1. Network settings on Windows Media Player:
Click the "NETWORK" tab. Under STREAMING PROTOCOLS make sure that Multicast, TCP, and HTTP are checked. If UDP is checked please UNCHECK it.
Under "STREAMING PROXY SETTINGS", highlight "HTTP" and click the "CONFIGURE" button. On the CONFIGURE PROTOCOL popup check "AUTO DETECT PROXY SETTINGS" and click OK.
    2. Performance settings on Windows Media Player: Open Media Player and click Tools then Options from the drop menu. On the Options popup click the Performance tab. Click the radio button for "Detect Connection Speed". If this is already checked, you may need to set it manually by clicking the radio button "Choose Connection Speed" and then from the drop menu choose a speed that is appropriate to your connection. If you are still seeing issues with performance try other speeds until you find one that is suitable.
    3. File Types settings on Windows Media Player: Open Media Player and click Tools then Options from the drop menu. On the Options popup click the File Types tab. Under File Types make sure the following are checked: Windows Media File (asf), Windows Media Audio File (wma), and Windows Media Video File (wmv). If any of these are not checked put a check mark in the box next to the entry and click APPLY and OK.
    4. Player settings on Windows Media Player:
Open Media Player and click Tools then Options from the drop menu. On the Options popup click the PLAYER tab and under "Player settings" check the box next to "Connect to the Internet (overrides other commands)". Click APPLY and OK. Then close Media Player.
  7. For MAC OSX Users:
    1. We recommend that you access the site using Firefox, Safari, or Netscape browsers. Internet Explorer on MAC OSX will not work correctly.
    2. We suggest that you re-install Windows Media Player 9 for MAC. You can download it from:
      http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/mac/mp9/default.aspx
    3. Adjustments To Windows Media Player Settings:
The movies will automatically open in the embedded version of Windows Media Player. If the movies do not play or you want to resize the player window change your Player Preference. Click MY ACCOUNT. On the Personal Preferences page go to Player Preference and change the option to YES and click Update Preference. This change will open the movies directly in Windows Media Player.
    4. To resize the player you can use the APPLE 1, 2, 3, 4 keys or the Zoom/Full Screen options from the Windows Media Player View menu.
      Apple 1 = 50%
      Apple 2 = 100%
      Apple 3 = 200%
      Apple 4 = Full Screen
    5. Open Windows Media Player and click “Windows Media Player” on the menu bar. From the drop menu click “Preferences” and on the Preferences dialog under Network Settings / Protocols select Multicast, TCP, HTTP and No Proxy then click "Connection”. Select the correct connection speed and then click “OK”. Click “Windows Media Player” on the menu bar and select “Quit Windows Media Player” from the drop menu.
    6. Try and watch a movie clicking the PLAY HIGH SPEED link. Hopefully this will help you.
If you still have a buffering issue, open Windows Media Player and click “Windows Media Player” on the menu bar. From the drop menu click “Preferences” and on the Preferences dialog under Buffering select “Buffer” and enter 15 for “seconds of data”.
If none of the above works please use the CONTACT US form on the site and we will try to help you. You may expect a response within 8 hours of contacting us.
